SHIRODHARA FACE (shiro-da-ra)

This treatment involves a short massage of the scalp and face. Then a steady stream of cool aromatic oil is drizzled backwards and forwards across the forehead for an extra relaxing, calming effect. Treatment lasts approximately 25 minutes.

ABHYANGA AND SHIRODHARA

Abhyanga (abby-anga). A wonderfully relaxing massage therapy administered by two therapists working in synchrony. Using a delicate blend of herbalised oils, this treatment is designed to stimulate the release of toxins from the cells.
Shirodhara (shiro-da-ra) follows the Abhyanga as part of the treatment. It is performed by one therapist as described above.

HOPI EAR CANDLES (Limited availability)

This treatment is soothing and may be helpful for earache, headache, ear noise, stress and nervousness. The candle is placed just inside the ear and light suction is created by the small flame of the candle, just a few inches away from the ear. This creates a vibration of air within the candle, giving a gentle massage-like effect on the ear drum, dislodging excess wax. This treatment induces a pleasant feeling of warmth and balance of pressure within the ears and surrounding sinuses. At the end of the treatment the neck, ears and facial sinuses are then gently massaged by hand. Not suitable for those with perforated ear drum, grommets or any inflammation or infection of the ear.
